John Watrus Beckwith (1831-1890) was the Episcopalian Bishop of Georgia from 1868 until his death in 1890. Before becoming Bishop of the Diocese of Georgia, he was rector at various churches. After being ordained bishop, he lived in Macon, Savannah (1870-1874), Marietta, and Atlanta - where he died. Additional information on the Rt. Rev.
