Commonwealth and Continental Church Society
In 1835, the Colonial Missionary Society was founded on behalf of the new settlement in Western Australia, then united with the Colonial Church and School Society of Newfoundland and Canada. In 1861, the Society changed its name to the Colonial and Continental Church Society, and then to Commonwealth and Continental Church Society in 1953.
