This document includes a well-documented genealogy report with notes on the descendants of Asa Cobb through the eleventh generation. It also includes a table of contents with the individuals listed alphabetically indicating the page number where the individuals can be found. Captain Asa Cobb was born (1701-c1775) in Lands End, England and died in Dutchess Co., NY. Many descendants of Asa Cobb migrated into Pennsylvania, a few stayed in Orange Co., NY and at least one descendant went into NJ. Grandsons Zipron Cobb's (1748-1810) family moved to Abington Twp., Luzerne Co., PA after his death, Asa Cobb (c1749-1808) settled in Cobb's Gap near Dunmore, PA in 1784, and their brother Joseph Cobb (1755- before 1820) was found in Luzerne Co., PA in 1793.
