Lent, Elbert, 1909-
Elbert Lent was born on December 2, 1909, and was raised in New Jersey. After graduating from high school, he moved to New York City and entered the life insurance sales field at Prudential Insurance Company. He was transferred to New Orleans in 1948 and then to Baton Rouge in 1950 to set up an office for Prudential. Lent later worked for United Companies and the Lincoln National Life Insurance Company.
