AFL-CIO. Committee on Political Education. Area 3.
The Committee on Political Education (COPE) is one of several standing committees of the AFL-CIO. Organized to meet the need for political education of AFL-CIO members, COPE encourages workers to register, vote, and exercise their rights and responsibilities as citizens through participation in local, state, and national politics. Area 3 covers a region comprised of Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North and South Carolina, and West Virginia.
