Wawn, William T. (William Twizell), 1837-1901.
Born in England, Capt. Wawn went to sea, mainly in the South Sea Islands and published South Sea Islanders and the Queensland labour trade (1893), about blackbirding. Later he was a prospector in Australia and died in Sydney - 1903.
