Immer, Esther I., 1902-1970.
Esther Immer worked as a social worker for the state of Iowa for 28 years. She served as the executive secretary of the Iowa Commission on Children and Youth (1948-1967). She was involved with several Governor's Conferences on Children and Youth and the 1969 Iowa White House Conference for Children and Youth. She attended high school at Charles City High School and received Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of Iowa.
