Variant namesDancer and designer for the San Francisco Ballet in the early 1940s.
Created costume designs for first full-length Nutcracker ballet staged in this country. Collected items from and corresponded with many of the artists involved in dance in the Bay Area. Founder and first director of the Archives for the Performing Arts.
