Escudero y Echánove, Pedro, 1818-1897.
Politician. Born 1818 in Campeche; died 1897 in Mexico City. Liberal representative to the Constitutional Congress of 1856-1857 for the state of Yucatán. Escudero y Echánove later embraced the imperialist cause and was named Minnister of Justice by Maximilian in November, 1864. He retired to private life after the defeat of Maximilian.
