Historian. Lived in Stockton, Calif. from 1918. Self-employed electrician (1920-30), vocational education teacher (1930-35), post office maintenance engineer (1935-1955). Received B.A. in economics from College of the Pacific (1935). Wrote "History of Building & Loan in California" (1934-35), "Building the Heart of an Empire" (1938) and "Vallejo" (1941). Later produced radio programs based on material from these works. Other works include: psychology columns published in Stockton newspaper (1928); unpublished fiction; and unpublished fictionalized biography of Mariano G. Vallejo (1949-1950).
