Iowa State University. 25-Year Club.

Hide Profile

The Iowa State University 25-Year Club recognizes members of the faculty and staff who have served Iowa State for at least 25 years. The club was informally established in 1915 when several long-time faculty and staff members were honored for their service. The organization was formalized in 1934 under the direction of Harold E. Pride, secretary of the ISU Alumni Association. The charter was signed on June 9, 1934 by 43 staff members. Annual meetings are currently held in the spring during which new initiates are presented certificates of membership, and special recognition is also given to those members who have reached other milestones of service, such as 35 or 50 years. The 25-Year Club is now coordinated by Iowa State's Office of Retirement Information and Planning.
