Jones, Charles D., 1875-1963.

Charles D. Jones moved to Nome from Chicago in 1900. He became a longshoreman, a miner and prospector and a foreman with the Alaska Road Commission. He served in the Territorial House of Representatives (1913-1915), in the Territorial Senate (1953-1957), and in the State House of Representatives (1959-1961). He also served as U.S. Marshall in the Second Judicial District (1925-1933).
