Biography

Yale was the author of Legal titles to mining claims and water rights in California (1867).

Yale came to California in 1850 from Jacksonville and established a law practice in San Francisco where for a number of years he was associated with the law firm of Halleck, Peachy & Billings. He was also associated with Frank Turk and other San Francisco lawyers. He later opened his own office and specialized in mining law.
