After graduation, Hudson worked for a year as a technical assistant in the University of California Farm Division before operating his own farm in Fresno County from 1924-1928. He began work with the Agricultural Extension Service of the University of California as an assistant farm advisor in 1929 in Kern County. From 1942-1950 he served as farm advisor in Fresno County. As Assistant Director of the Extension Service from 1951-1965, Hudson was in charge of the Extension's farm and home advisors in the San Joaquin Valley counties. Hudson passed away on February 9, 1982.

Biography
Nathaniel Delos Hudson (1901-1982) graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 1922 with a B.S. in Animal Husbandry. He began work with the Agricultural Extension Service of the University of California as an assistant farm advisor in 1929 in Kern County. From 1942-1950 he served as farm advisor in Fresno County. As Assistant Director of the Extension Service from 1951-1965, Hudson was in charge of the Extension's farm and home advisors in the San Joaquin Valley counties.
Hudson passed away on February 9, 1982.
