Bishop, Curtis Kent, 1912-1967
A native of Austin, Texas, Curtis Bishop (1912-1967) was a student at the University of Texas at Austin, a newspaper writer for the Austin American-Statesman, and a local author. Sometimes using the pseudonyms “Curt Brandon” and “Curt Carroll”, Bishop wrote more than fifty books and several hundred magazine articles for youth concerning sports and western lore.
