Goheen, Joseph R., d. 1929.
Joseph R. Goheen of Pine Grove Mills, Pa., left college at the Farmers' High School of Pennsylvania to enlist in the U.S. Army in 1861. He served with the 83rd Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, Army of the Potomac, at the siege of Yorktown and battles of Groveton, Brighton, and second Bull Run. He died at National Military Home in Kansas.
