A. Pomeroy & Co.
Variant namesAlexander Pomeroy (1829-1885), of Rochester, N.Y., was a financier, mapmaker, and publisher. During the 1870s, Pomeroy mapped the states of New York and Pennsylvania for the United States government. He then published atlases of various New York and Pennsylvania counties under the name A. Pomeroy & Co. and sold them by subscription.
