A life-long professional photographer from Richmond, Va. Co-founder of the Camera Club of Richmond. Worked for the Richmond News Leader and, later, Miller & Rhodes department stores as a catalog photographer. Was also instrumental in the photography section of Richmond's Virginia Fine Arts Center. Received many awards; gained renown when his photographs appeared on the covers of Newsweek and The Saturday Evening Post. Died in Richmond in September of 1998.
