Chamberlain, Wilt, 1936-1999
Variant namesWilton "Wilt" Chamberlain was a famous basketball player and track star from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania known for his superior size and athletic ability. Wilt attended the University of Kansas from 1955-1958 and played in the National Basketball Association from 1958-1974. He received many honors throughout his career, including two-time NBA Champion and four-time NBA Most Valuable Player.
