Campbell, Jack

Jack Campbell, who possibly lived in Fountain Creek, Tennessee, was friends with Thomas B. Hockaday (1835-1918) from Ben Franklin, Texas, and G.B. Lipscomb (1834-1880), from Marshall, Texas. Lipscomb was a 2nd Lieutenant in Company D of the 7th Texas Infantry. Hockaday also served in the Confederate Army, but was in the 6th Texas Calvary. He was a teacher at the Giles Academy in Giles, Texas.
