He also holds degrees in history from Harvard College and University College, Oxford. Mr. Putnam has taught at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, but has devoted the majority of his career to private practice, specializing in appellate litigation. He is currently a partner in the law firm Drinker, Biddle, and Reath
