Richard R. Brandell (Nov. 30, 1932-Oct. 12, 2004) was a long time pharmacist at Gould's Drug Store and for the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe in Mount Pleasant (MIch.). He collected and loved the postcard collection. After his death, Brandell's wife, Mary Ellen Brandell, an emeritus professor at Central Michigan University, donated his collection to the Clarke Historical Library.
