Dr. Thomas F. Glick, professor of medieval history, earned his B.A. in History and Science from Harvard University in 1960. He then earned an M.A. in Arabic at Columbia University (1963) and a Ph.D. in History at Harvard (1968). Glick has taught at the University of Texas at Austin (1968-72) and Boston University (1972-present). He also held visiting professorships in Spain and Fulbright Lecturer positions in Uruguay, and has had his work published in numerous academic journals. Glick serves as Director of the Shtetl Economic History Project and is Professor of History at Boston University.
