Harry Rosenberger was born on a farm near Victor, Iowa. In 1906 he began a 6 year period of studies including theology and religion at Central Holiness University in University Park, Iowa. From 1912 to 1915 he served as a minister in a small Iowa town. From 1915 to 1921 he taught at Central Holiness before leaving to further his studies in New York City (Ph. D., New York University). After completing his education he taught at various schools including East Nazarene College, Houghton College (New York), Kletzig College (Iowa) and Taylor University (Indiana).
