Aldrich, Barbara Tanner, 1917-
Barbara Tanner Aldrich, a native of Providence, RI, joined the WAVES in 1943 and did her basic training at Hunter College, The Bronx. She attended the radio operators course at the University of Wisconsin and then was assigned to the Eastern Sea Frontier, New York City as a radio and teletype operator.
