Wells, Selmon W. (Selmon Willard), 1916-
Selmon Willard Wells (b. May 3, 1916, San Francisco, Calif.) was vice commander of the 8th Air Force at Westover Air Force Base from 1965 to 1967. He took command of the 3rd Air Division in 1967. He was later assigned inspector general of the Air Force in March 1969.
