Bolks, Seine, 1814-1894
Bolks studied theology under Van Raalte in the Netherlands and was ordained around 1838. He immigrated to the United States in 1847 in order to find religious freedom. Bolks settled in Michigan and held many pastorates both there and throughout the midwest.
