Walker, William Russell 1944-
Walker was serving as a stake president prior to his call as a General Authority and had served previously as president of the Japan Tokyo South Mission (1990-1993) and president of the Sandy Utah Cottonwood Creek Stake (1994-2002). Walker was called as a member of the 2nd Quorum of Seventy, serving from 2002-2008; and then called as a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy in April 2008. He served in the Area Presidency of the Asia North Area, and as the Executive Director of the Temple Department from 2007-2014.
