Brewster, Andre Walker, 1862-1942
Variant namesAndre Walker Brewster (b. Dec. 9, 1862, New Jersey-d. March 27, 1942), Major General in the U.S. Army, began his military career with the 10th Infantry in 1885 and moved through the ranks, after graduating from the Army War College in 1907, then serving as Inspector General from 1909 to 1913. He reached the rank of major general in 1922. He retired from Army service in December 1925.
