Ross, Marien Devereux.
Marien Devereux Ross (nee Barlow) sent the first signals from the Amalamated Wireless (Australasia) transmitting station at Ballan, Victoria to Skequess, England in early December 1926. At the official opening, Queens St., Melbourne, 1927 April 8, the message from King George V transmitted to Australia was handed to Miss M. D. Barlow.
