Higginson, Ida Agassiz.
Ida Agassiz Higginson (b. 1837) was the daughter of naturalist and Harvard professor Louis Agassiz. She married Henry Lee Higginson, a banker and founder of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, in December 1863.
