Hayne, James Adams, 1872-1953.
Physician. Hayne received his M.D. from the Medical College of South Carolina and began his practice in Greenville, S.C. During the Spanish-American war he was a corporal in Company D, 1st South Carolina Infantry Regiment. He was the son of Theodore B. Hayne (b. 1841) and Lilah Adams. In 1897 he married Frances D. Thorn.
