Edwin Forbes Glenn (b. Jan. 10, 1857, North Carolina-d. Aug. 5, 1926), Major General in the U.S. Army, graduated from West Point in 1877 and received his law degree in 1890. He served as judge advocate in several locations and as commander of exploration and relief expeditions to Alaska. During World War I, he was commander of the 83rd Division, American Expeditionary Forces, in France. General Glenn retired in December 1919.

Edwin F. Glenn was born in North Carolina. He graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1877 and obtained a law degree in 1891. He married Louise Smith in 1896 and they had four children. During his military career, he served in the American west, the Philippines, Mexico, and in World War I. In 1898 and 1899, Captain Glenn commanded exploratory expeditions to the Cook Inlet area of Alaska.
