Caley, Albert F. (Albert Francis), 1884-1975
Variant namesCaley, a native of Lorain County, Ohio, moved to Dallas County, Alabama, in 1920 to raise dairy and beef cattle. In 1935 he discovered that a wild legume growing in Alabama (Lathyrus Hirsutus) made an excellent feed. He wrote unpublished novels, short stories and poetry, as well as many letters to editors. In 1911 he married Helen Scoville.
