Haynes, Charles, 1814-1868
Little is known about Charles Haynes who was born in Brattleboro, Vermont in 1814. He served in the Texas Army with the Buckeye Rangers of Ohio in 1836 and was honorably discharged in 1838. He later moved to Llano County, Texas, where he worked as a blacksmith until his death in 1868.
