Knierim, Robert.

Civic leader. A resident of Bronte, Texas, Knierim was actively involved in irrigation projects in Coke County, Texas. In 1918, he organized the Colorado Valley Irrigation Association, serving as vice-president, and promoted a dam project for Coke County. In 1935, the Upper Colorado River Authority was established and the dam project was approved in 1947. This led to the development of the E. V. Spence Reservoir near Robert Lee, Coke County, Texas.
