Yevtushenko, Yevgeny, 1933-, poet and writer
Yevgeny Yevtushenko (Евгений Александрович Евтушенко) is a Russian poet and writer who was born in Siberia in 1933. He joined the Union of Soviet Writers in 1952 after the publication of his first poetry collection. His most famous poem Babi Yar denounced Soviet anti-semitism.
