Jackson, James, 1819-1887
Variant namesJames Jackson was a son of William H. Jackson and a grandson of General James Jackson. He was a lawyer, served in the Georgia House of Representatives and the U.S. House of Representatives, a judge of the Superior Court, Associate Justice, and Chief Justice of Georgia, 18789-1887.
