Gerald D. Morgan (1908-1976) became a Special Assistant on the White House staff in 1953, and was an Administrative Assistant to President Eisenhower until 1955. From 1955 to 1958, Morgan served as Special Counsel to the President, and then as Deputy Assistant to the President from 1958 to 1961.
