Shenk, William B., 1933-
William B. Shenk, born in 1933 in Alexandria, Virginia, began working in Ford Motor Company's design studios in 1962 after completing design studies at the Art Center School in Los Angeles. While at Ford, Shenk worked on designs for well-known vehicles such as the 1970 Torino, the 1975 Capri, the 1981 Escort and 1987 Mustang and Thunderbird as well as later models such as the Aspire, Festiva and Probe. Shenk retired from Ford Motor Company in 1995.
