Phạm, Văn Nghệ,
Phạm Văn Nghệ lived in Hanoi at the time of the Battle of Dien Bien Phu in 1954, but then moved to Saigon. He was a violin soloist in the Saigon symphony as well as a music instructor. He fought in the South Vietnamese Army, but fled to the United States after the war.
