Lloyd Brothers, Pharmacists Inc.

Hide Profile

Lloyd Brothers was a pharmaceutical manufacturing firm controlled by the Lloyd brothers, John Uri, Curtis Gates, and Nelson Ashley, from the 1870s to 1938.

The company's growth to a leading manufacturer of ethical and botanical drugs was due in large part to the research and inventions of John Uri Lloyd. His patents and new medicinals, along with exacting standards of quality and production, resulted in the firm's position of primary supplier to Eclectic physicians, as well as allopaths (regular medicine) and Homeopaths.
