Ada attended school at Farmingdale Academy in what is now known as the Seeley District of Middlebury, Vt. From July 25-Mar. 1953 she is listed as the owner of the house at 34 Seminary St., once owned by her mother Sarah Seymour Smith. Ada Smith never married and was known as "Aunt Ada" by family members.
