Roberts, O. Madoc (Owen Madoc), 1867-1948
Variant namesO. Madoc Roberts, born 1867, of Porthmadog, Caernarfonshire, studied at Didsbury College, Manchester to become a minister. He then served at Abergele Circuit in Denbighshire, Rhiwlas and finally Penisa'r-waun in Caernarfonshire before completing his probationary period. In 1917 he was made Book Steward of the Methodist Bookroom in Bangor, living at Garth Road, Bangor.
He was a regular contributor to Yr Eurgrawn and other periodicals and also the author of several publications including, Pobol Capel Nant-y-Gro and Bywyd Iesu Grist yn Ieuainc .
He married Miss Watkin Williams and they had three children. He died in October 1948 at the age of 81.
