Jolowicz, H. (Heimann), 1816-1875
Variant namesRabbi and writer, born 1816 (in Coeslin/Koszalin?) and died 1875. Received a doctorate from the University of Kiel and was active as a rabbi in Marienwerder (Kwidzyn, Poland), Koszalin, and in London, England. He retired early and settled in Königsberg (Kaliningrad), where he wrote several theological and historical texts, as well as literary criticism.
