Doughty, Ralph, 1933-
Variant namesDoughty was born and lived in the Doughty House in Mount Pleasant (Mich.). He operated his father's dry goods business, attended public schools, Alma College, and the University of Michigan. In 1897 he married Mabel I. Bishop (1871-1959) and together they had three children. He was a member of the Board of Trade, Board of Education, and the Presbyterian Church. He died at age 49 on Sept. 16, 1920.
