Harrison was born on Dec. 18, 1888 in San Bernardino, CA; studied law privately; admitted to CA bar in 1914; became Democratic Party leader in CA; practiced at Needles, CA (1917-23) and San Bernardino (1923-37); served as city attorney for Needles, 1918-37; appointed US district attorney for the Southern district of CA (1937), and US district judge for the area in 1940; he died on Aug. 13, 1960.
