Berry, Don L. (Don Lytton), 1880-1974.
Editor and publisher of the Indianola Record, 1920-1960. Born October 8, 1880 in Indianola, Iowa; graduated from Simpson College in 1903 and joined the staff of the Des Moines Register and Leader. Married Bertha Sloan in 1905. Left the Register and Leader in 1904 for farming, and did not return to the newspaper world until 1920 when he bought the Indianola Record. Remained the editor and publisher until retiring in 1960.
