Nixon, Richard, active 1887-1938

Richard Nixon was married to Agnes Dolphe, daughter of U. S. Senator Dolphe of Oregon. They were married May 25, 1887 and later moved to Portland where he became a partner in the law firm Dolph, Nixon & Dolph. They made their home on Mount Tabor at the head of Hawthorne Avenue. The pair would later split their residence between Washington state and Paris, France, where Agnes died on January 22, 1928.
