Ellis (Ylltyr) Williams
Ellis Yllltyr Williams of Dolgellau, Merionethshire, composer, was also known as Ylltyr Eryri . He was born on 21 January 1835 and died in 1911. During his lifetime, many of his compositions (songs, anthems, carols) were published e.g. Odlau Ylltyr : sef odlau gwladgarol, serchiadol, dirwestol, moesol a chrefyddol. Y llyfr cyntaf . No further biographical information was available at time of compilation of description.
